CFMWS provides support to all CAF messes. Specifically, PSP Hospitality Services provides expertise on operational and management practices and assists mess managers in providing quality mess hospitality services.

**THE ROLE**
As an Assistant Mess (Hospitality) Manager, you provide an excellent customer experience in our military messes. During big events to every day moments, you will build a rapport with the military community while utilizing your operational and hospitality experience. Military messes are places where Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members come together to socialize and foster morale.

The Assistant Mess Manager will ensure smooth operation of mess activities and facilities, while adhering to strict requirements for health, hygiene and safety. You will evaluate and recommend staff requirements for functions and oversee the protocol, table settings and arrangements, seating plans, special menus, and beverage requirements.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience

Provincial Responsible Service of Alcohol certification

**Experience**

In coordinating hospitality services

In organizing banquets and functions

In inventory and bar management

In personnel administration

**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership

**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS** English Essential / Bilingual an asset**
