**The Opportunity**:
This position has the responsibility of reviewing, planning, and integrating the acquisition network environment into the organization’s global infrastructure. The position requires detailed technical knowledge of specific network elements and systems with the ability to troubleshoot those elements completely. Occasional as required off hours cut over and implementations will be required.

**You are great at**:

- In-depth knowledge of general networking as relates to the OSI model with emphasis on the security layers and protocols relating to each.
- Working knowledge of SNMP, Syslog, AAA, IP Super/subnetting, DHCP, NTP, QoS, and NetFlow as they relate to security enhancement and diagnostics.
- Knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, wireless components, dynamic routing protocols, and related security functions such as rule sets, access lists, policy maps, route spoof detection, root bridging, ARP flooding, and MAC spoofing detection.
- Checkpoint firewalls and associated feature sets.
- Fortinet firewalls and associated feature sets.
- Palo Alto firewalls and associated feature sets.
- Prisma Access and Cisco AnyConnect VPN client setup and management.
- Cisco ISE with an understanding of certificate-based authentication, profiling, and Radius and TACACS.
- Security layers/products as they tie into Cisco networking, voice, and video components.
- Work with acquisitions and other departments to design and seamlessly implement any production change required.
- All work needs to be done to ensure no customer impact, or the smallest impact possible given the constraints of the implementation, to the overall production system.
- Create and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for a given system element.
- Provide documentation for all new design implementations engineered from within the group or assist in documentation for projects jointly engineered with other departments.
- Develop and maintain production server documentation.
- Cross-Train production support & engineering personnel to ensure knowledge is held by multiple individuals
- Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation
- Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
- Investigating faults in the acquisition networks

**What it takes**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of work experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer in a medium to large-scale environment
- Expert knowledge in the administration of Palo Alto, CheckPoint, FortiGate, and Cisco firewalls
- Expert knowledge in the administration of Arista Networks, and Cisco, including dynamic routing protocols and switching.
- Experienced in the administration of Prisma SD-WAN or similar SD-WAN technology.
- Experienced in Cisco ISE administration, and policy management.
- Experienced in Cloud Network implementation and administration
- Experienced in Load Balancing technologies, F5, and similar technologies.
- Strong verbal and written skills in English
- Well-developed interpersonal, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Strong team player, working in a globally dispersed team
- Ability to effectively prioritize workload and tasks to effectively meet established deadlines
- Ability to creatively resolve problems and/or design new solutions to known flaws in design, and describe these in a detailed and clear report to management
