**Job Overview**:
The Sales Manager for SMERF (_Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal_) and SPORTS markets will be tasked with creating and executing sales strategies to attract and secure business within these targeted sectors for Hyatt Place Hyatt House Mississauga Airport Corporate Centre. This position requires a dynamic approach to identifying potential clients, fostering relationships, and closing deals to meet revenue objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a strategic plan to increase sales in the SMERF and SPORTs market segments.
- Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as the Front Office and Catering, to ensure client needs are met
- Track market trends and competitor actions to uncover new opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to foster repeat business and loyalty.
- Adhere to all company procedures, values, and policies.

**Qualifications**:

- Hotel Experience Preferred (minimum 2-3 years)
- Proficiency with Opera and Envision systems is desirable.
- Demonstrated success in sales, with a focus on the SMERF and SPORTS markets, is highly valued.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create, measure, and interpret sales data.
- Flexibility to travel locally and within Canada as required.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A deep passion for the hospitality industry and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
