As an IT support technician, you will join a dynamic environment that is part of the ABB ELIP Division service team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced IT professionals. You will work in a manufacturing environment including the administrative departments of various factories and offices. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple platforms including Windows, iSeries, SQL, Oracle, SAP, and Cisco VOIP technology.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Provide local and remote technical support to customers, while fostering the highest quality customer experience.
- Document and manage customer requests using the Unicenter Service Desk ticket tracking system, while proactively prioritizing and tracking open tickets.
- Analyze, diagnose, and solve the technical problems, and escalate the tickets to experts if necessary.
- Provide basic training to customers on the functionality of the system.
- Provide support for the projects.
- Work as a team.
- Be available to travel as needed to support plants located on the South Shore, Montreal, and the West Island.

**Your background**:

- Have a DCS in Computer Science.
- Have 3 years of experience in technical support in a technical support environment.
- Have a command of the Office products and Windows 365.
- Solid interpersonal skills as well as strong spoken and written communication skills (English and French).
- Self-taught and have good analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand written guidelines and procedures.
- Well documented in English and French.
- Excellent teammate and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members.
