**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Manage ongoing sales process, responds to, and anticipates customer needs,
- Generate and follow up on new customer leads
- Develop relationships with developers, engineering and architectural community
- Presentations to the technical community on specifications for precast solutions
- Ability to do presentations on precast solutions to various clients
- Develop future business pipeline for 3 year sales cycle
- Develop marketing plans through research into customer needs, production capability, and current and potential product offerings
- Communicate effectively with precast departments to optimize scheduling of design and production.
- Support estimators with accurate customer information.
- Plan future markets and break into new geographical territory
- Increase awareness of competitor’s actions
- Track our plant schedule and product types to ensure that we have a sufficient backlog of profitable work
- Ensure that accurate estimates are prepared with input from engineering, production and installation functions were applicable.
- Financial accountability within the marketing and sales budget
- Participate in trade shows within the industry.
- Conduct Lunch & Learns

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Civil Engineering degree (Structural) or Diploma in Structural Engineering Technology
- Professional registration as P.Eng. or C.E.T.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering and construction
- Minimum 2 years technical sales experience
- Professional selling skills training considered an asset
- Strong sales aptitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player and positive attitude
- Ability to listen to the customer and identify a customers’ needs;
- Ability to establish strong relationships with customers.
- Possesses strong organization and problem-solving skills;
- Holds self and others accountable for keeping commitments, maintaining standards, and achieving goals;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
