Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Program Manager ensures effective, accurate, and efficient administration of the Investment Fund and develops, delivers, and assesses programs to help creative entrepreneurs thrive.

Creative Saskatchewan is the Saskatchewan government agency responsible for the economic development and growth of the province’s creative industries. We help creative entrepreneurs trade and export of their creative products.

The Program Manager must believe in our province’s creative industries and their ability to help contribute to a healthy, diversified Saskatchewan economy. Must be a Saskatchewan resident willing to live and work in Regina. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

- a) Oversee the day-to-day activities relating to the administration of the Investment Fund through programming delivered by Creative Saskatchewan staff.
c) Support Program staff in the administration of programs to ensure compliance with Investment
Fund guidelines.
d) On-going consultation with stakeholders to ensure the programs offered by Creative
Saskatchewan are responsive to current market opportunities, accessible to applicants, and
support the mandate of the agency.
e) Ensure accurate and complete preparation of adjudication materials.
f) Chair jury meetings as required.
g) Ensure proper record keeping of program commitments.
h) Prepare annual budget for Investment Fund and Program activities.
i) Supervise a team of three staff with a growing team.
j) Other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may from time-to-time be assigned by the CEO.

fostering effective teamwork, both within Creative Saskatchewan and between the Agency, its stakeholders and clients.

verbal and written contexts.
**Leadership**: Must be willing to share areas of competence with others. Must be willing to coach and
encourage the meaningful contribution of others. Must show personal leadership within the position,
through setting priorities, identifying roles, delegating work with clear expectations and consistently
meeting timelines.
**Strategic Thinking/Problem-solving**: Must be a strategic thinker and creative problem solver with the
ability to anticipate upcoming opportunities and challenges and determine required outcomes. Must be
able to develop innovative approaches for the Agency’s systems and processes. Must be willing to
participate in the ongoing change process required of an Agency that values Saskatchewan’s creative
industries.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:
**Finance & Budgeting**: Must have an understanding of financial reporting and knowledge of and skills in
budget development and monitoring.
**Facilitation Skills**: Must be skilled at leading discussions with groups with varying interests with the
objective of reaching an agreement/consensus.
**Program Evaluation & Management**: Must demonstrate program management skills including the ability to develop, deliver, assess and evaluate programs.
**Computer Skills**: Must have a good working knowledge of computer programs such as word processing,
spreadsheet and database software, and the Internet.
