**Your role**:
Reporting to the Director, Portfolio Construction, the Advisor will participate in the strategic thinking of the organization and the establishment of the optimal portfolio allocation in terms of risk-adjusted return. He.she will also support the development of the organization's four-year strategic plan and monitor its execution.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Assist in the completion of research projects, in collaboration with several internal and external groups, to develop investment convictions:

- Conduct analysis and research to determine allocation strategies that take into account the evolution of the real estate cycle and long-term trends (e.g., impact of disruptive technologies on our business model, relative attractiveness of investment strategies, evaluation of the diversification potential of a sector, product or geography)
- Participate in the drafting of presentation documents describing these beliefs and participate in internal discussions (activity offering high visibility with senior management)
- Work in close collaboration with members of the CDPQ, Ivanhoe Cambridge and the various divisions
- Participate in the organization's strategic thinking and in the establishment of the optimal portfolio allocation in terms of risk-adjusted return:

- Help develop the portfolio construction tool and database in collaboration with various internal teams
- Contribute to the thinking around portfolio construction and methodologies to project returns, risk and correlations between the different components
- Assist in the establishment of optimal portfolio allocation targets in terms of risk-adjusted return
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis to support the development of the portfolio's capital allocation strategy
- Assist in conducting stress tests and scenarios to measure the impact of investment strategies and real estate market developments on portfolio performance and allocation
- Participate in the development of the organization's four-year strategic plan and monitoring its execution:

- Model the current and prospective portfolio and performance and value added for the strategic planning exercise
- Monitor real estate market and portfolio developments in relation to strategic planning and current risks
- Contribute to the monitoring of the execution of the strategic plan as part of the semi-annual reporting

**Your profile**:

- Graduate degree in finance, financial engineering or related discipline;
- Professional designations (CFA, FRM/PRM, CAIA, FSA/FICA) an asset;
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in strategy, portfolio construction, risk management, or other relevant experience
- Excellent technical expertise in portfolio financial modeling, strategy and financial analysis;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to express oneself clearly and concisely;
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines;
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines; Ability to work on several files at once;
- Knowledge and mastery of the Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
- Excellent communication skills in French and an advanced level of English (oral and written);
- As Otéra operates across Canada and in the United States, the person will be required to interact with our various teams based in Montreal, Toronto and New York.Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization;
