This role will support the procurement team in taking action and identifying continuous improvement initiatives. The procurement business analyst will be key in developing KPIs and metrics for procurement and reporting on them. Develops, implements, and delivers procurement training, including translating the training to an online platform and rolling out the training. Develops a training strategy. Responsible for driving all procurement activities onto an e-procurement system and training organizationally on how to use it. Inputs and provides implementation support for lean projects. Will provide procurement support to key clients while also supporting overflow from the other procurement category specialists.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for supporting the creation of key metrics for procurement and the development of dashboards reflecting client needs.
- Develops the implementation protocol for both contract management and supplier management and supports the organization in utilizing these tools and associated training.
- Identifies and supports the implementation of change initiatives, including the areas identified in lean projects.
- Identifies areas for improvement and then takes action to implement them.
- Develops a Total Lifecycle Costing and Total Cost of Ownership protocol and then supports the implementation of the same on key projects.
- Manages SharePoint issues tracker and ensures its continuous usage by the organization. Identifies ongoing issues, conducts root cause analysis, provides recommendations on improvement, and acts on the same
- Is responsible for developing a detailed procurement manual incorporating key “how-to” summaries in each section, as well as translating key information to formulate a FAQ on the intranet.
- Develops and then supports the implementation of training content, translating that content into online training. Develops a training strategy.
- Liaises with clients across the spectrum on issues and works to resolve these problems, determining whether they are systemic or one-off, and identifying ways or means to solve them permanently.
- Develops and fosters internal customer relationships with stakeholders to understand business objectives and roadmaps, in addition to supplier relationships.
- Reports and resolves issues with internal clients that are received through a client portal.
- Liaises with senior procurement specialists and business partners to gain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements, supporting the development of short-term and long-term objectives.

**Education and Experience**:

- Degree in Business, Supply Chain or similar
- Master’s Degree, Business/Supply Chain, CSCMP certification, Lean designation, NGIP certification, considered an asset
- 5 years of experience

**Required Skills/Knowledge**:

- Knowledge of procurement and strategic sourcing and its process flow, preferably in both the private and public sectors
- Understanding of metrics and measurements related to procurement and sourcing.
- Knowledge and experience with e-procurement systems
- Experience with client and vendor relationships, including supplier performance management.
- Technical skills, advanced Excel, Power BI or similar, SAP ERP, other analytics tools
