We have an opening in our Cambridge, ON office for a **Purchasing Administrator** within our Aviation team**.** This is a great entry-level opportunityfor a bright, technically astute, and driven individual to play a key role in a dynamic organization. We are looking for someone who will be an ambitious and dedicated contributor to our team.

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the Purchasing Administrator provides a high level of support, administrative work and coordination between its internal and external customers.

**Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:

- Generating purchase orders using RRAR’s requisition systems on a weekly basis
- Generating purchase orders in coordination with the sales staff for specific purchase requirements
- Verifying order confirmations from vendors and updating delivery dates in the system
- Expediting purchase orders
- Implementing price changes from vendors
- Maintenance of product descriptions in databases
- Sourcing alternate supplies where/when appropriate
- Liaise & interact with other NEE branches across Canada

**Qualifications**:

- 1 to 3 years relevant experience (recent graduates welcome)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- High regard for professionalism, confidentiality and ethical conduct
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Detail oriented
- Self-driven and able to quickly adapt to feedback
- Strategic and analytical thinker
- Proven time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work with a high level of detail with speed and accuracy
- Ability to deliver and respect deadlines
