As an Inside Sales Associate you will be providing first class customer service by creating a seamless shopping experience from the moment a customer enters the store. From product knowledge to assisting customers to their vehicles, we strive to operate with the best values in mind. We see the customers like family and want to keep them and ourselves in a safe environment. As we are living in an ever-changing world, continuous improvement is something Moffatt & Powell Rona is always doing. Job Duties
- Greet customers promptly with a warm greeting and ensure the best customer experience
- Operate cash terminal by handling cash, debit, or credit transactions, issue receipts, and process merchandise returns and exchanges as needed
- Assess customer needs and provide expert advice on various department products
- Actively participate in achieving sales objectives provided by the Branch Leadership Team
- Keep up to date with new products and their functions by partaking in Vendor and other PK training sessions
- Be aware of current promotions and flyer prices
- Ensure and participate in the maintenance of floor plans
- Support cycle counts and inventory counts as requested by Management
- Keep all checkout work stations clean, tidy, and uncluttered
- Comply with policies and procedures regarding loss prevention, breakage of goods and health and safety
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

**Requirements**:

- Basic knowledge of building materials and various home improvement products
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer and mathematic skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and/or with a Team
- Maintains a professional appearance
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

Work Conditions
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Predominately work indoors; some outdoor work may be required
- Carry / move product up to 20lbs as needed
- Able to work days, evenings, and weekends
- Able to work overtime as required
