**Role Responsibilities**:

If so, we want you to join our team as a Divisional Issues Coordinator in the Assistant Deputy Minister’s Office (ADM) for the First Nations and Metis Relations Division.

**Key Responsibilities Includes**:

- Provide quality assurance for correspondence and briefing materials for the Minister and Deputy Minister.
- Act as an expert resource for Action Request processes, ensuring timely and high-quality briefings and correspondence.
- Coordinate complex requests requiring input from multiple branches and departments.
- Review and edit documents for clarity, political sensitivity, and compliance with ministerial standards.
- Conduct research to ensure accuracy and alignment with departmental priorities.
- Provide training and direction to division staff on Action Requests.
- Identify and address emerging issues in collaboration with senior staff and support issues management.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and support the ADM’s Office.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirement**: A minimum of a university degree in a related field (Social Sciences, arts, Indigenous studies, Public Administration, or another related discipline) and two years of related experience.

**Equivalency**: Directly related education or experience may be considered based on:

- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.

- Advanced Writing Skills: Producing clear, concise, and effective written communication for diverse audiences, including government officials and stakeholders.

- Action Request (AR) Expertise: Drafting, editing, and managing Action Requests, ensuring adherence to government/organizational standards and timelines
