**Strata Administrative Assistant**

Effective communication with all clients (Strata Councils & Owners) as well as internal customers

Assist with administration and management of all documentation with regards to strata including the preparation of AGM and SGM, typing and formatting of minutes, notices, correspondence, etc.

Development of certificates for signature - Form K, B and F's

Maintenance and data entry on Voyager (Yardi) database.

Land title searches and filings

Process various payments as related to strata living - parking passes, keys, fobs, etc.

Client service and assisting with client inquiries

Administrative and ad hoc duties and tasks as assigned

**Property Manager Trainee**

After successfully mastering the administrative duties, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to move into a more senior role as Strata Property Management Trainee.

For this role, the responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:
Preparing for and chairing meetings, often held in the evening

Supervising building managers, security, maintenance, professional or other services required by the Strata Corporation.

Responding to emergencies & filing insurance claims

Preparing annual budgets, collecting fees and levies and ensuring they are paid on time

Regularly visiting and inspecting strata properties

Communicate with Owners/Tenant

Maintaining detailed records - exercising delegated powers and duties of a Strata Corporation or Strata Council

Other duties and projects may be assigned based on operational requirements

**Required Skills**:
Minimum 5 years in an Administrative Assistant role desired

Proficient in MS Office Suite

Understanding of the Strata Property Act, Rules & Regulations would be an asset

YARDI software experience would be an asset

Very strong eye to detail

Excellent communication skills - both verbal & written

Strong time management skills

Customer/client relationship experience with the ability to handle requests in a courteous & timely manner

Willingness to enroll in licensing studies (required as Property Manager) while learning the administrative tasks

Carry out the duties with good quality in an efficient, respectful and professional manner

Have a “roll up your sleeves and get the job done” attitude
