**Job Description**:

- Direct day-to-day ice operations for all Maple Leafs & Marlies facilities, including but not limited to games, practices, training camp, rookie camp, open practices and outdoor practices/games
- Coordinate the repairs and maintenance of all team-occupied spaces at Ford Performance Centre including team dressing rooms, video room, cold tubs, office space including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and 3rd party trades
- Lead ice recoveries, ice removal, maintenance, and preparation for conversions.
- Maintain Zamboni ice resurfacers and related ice maintenance equipment and systems.
- Work with arena personnel to install the best possible ice sheet for games and practices.
- Maintain the ice sheet in non-hockey event configurations.
- Continually supervise conditions of the facility any time ice is installed, including detailed maintenance logs of facility temperature and humidity conditions.
- Work with all building trades to make sure the ice is in optimum playing condition.
- Schedule and Direct NHL/Maple Leaf/AHL Toronto Marlies game day-related staff including ice crew, drivers, and shovelers.
- Maintains quality control over complete arena hockey game setup working closely with the Director, Facility Services, Manager Facility Services, Conversions Supervisors & staff, including dashers, hockey glass, goals, protective nets, etc.

**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience leading the operations for an NHL ice rink or multipurpose ice facility.
- Extensive knowledge of ice rink operations, facility maintenance, Zamboni ice resurfacer operation, ice rink refrigeration systems and facility environmental systems.
- Successfully completed ORFA Certified Ice Technician Program, Professional Ice Maker Designation (PIM) an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to drive ice resurfacing machines for an NHL team.
- Must be adaptable with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an experienced ability to present and communicate new insights and concepts.
- Organized and detail-oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal Arena Operations staff as well as event-related and promoter personnel.
- Ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
