As a valuable member of the Facility Services Team, you will deliver championship service throughout the organization. Under the direction of the Supervisor, Facility Services, you will assist in the conversions of the building, basketball setups, repairs and maintenance of the ice, and the usage of all ice-related equipment.
- Work with a team to convert and prepare the arena for events including hockey, basketball, concerts, and other public/private events.
- Preventative maintenance and repair of facility permanent and telescoping seating.
- Maintain ice surface before and after conversions, meeting NHL standards.
- Communicate professionally with internal customers and co-workers to meet organizational goals.
- Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies including Health & Safety.
- Work diligently to ensure the safety of self and others.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance on operations department equipment, keep work areas and equipment organized and functional.
- Operate light equipment and machines such as forklifts and ice maintenance equipment.
- Perform on and off-ice duties as they relate to the various ice-related event.
- Cleaning and buffing of all glass, ensuring accurate alignment.
- Installation/removal & alignment of all boards and gates.
- Perform duties as assigned by supervisors.

**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience operating and driving a Zamboni ice re-surfacer and ice edger required.
- Experience in ice installations/painting/logo installations & removal and ice patching required.
- Considerable knowledge of methods, equipment, materials, and techniques commonly used in Facility operations.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety where it relates.
- Available to work the overnight shift and weekends with some flexibility for late afternoon shifts.
- CIT certificate is an asset.
- Mechanical proficiency is an asset
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and adhere to game day ice schedules.
- Ability to easily adapt to a constantly evolving schedule.
- Previous experience working with Natural gas and propane fuel systems.
