Good Behaviour is currently seeking an Operations Chef to lead culinary operations across three dynamic locations in Toronto. As a fast-paced submarine sandwich and ice cream shop, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality while maintaining efficiency. Located at 342 Westmoreland Ave. N, 1324A Gerrard East, and 335 Queen St. W, Good Behaviour strikes a perfect balance between quick-service restaurant (QSR) operations and meticulous back-end preparation.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Oversee, manage and standardize the daily operations of the kitchens
- Create and develop new menu items and recipes
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet high standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Establish and achieve sales and COGs targets
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop seasonal menus and specials
- Manage food costs and budget effectively

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership position in a professional kitchen environment
- Proven track record of successful team management and leadership skills
- Extensive knowledge of food service industry trends and best practices
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house procedures
- Strong administration and computer skills a plus
- Excellent food handling skills, including proper storage, preparation, and cooking techniques
- MUST have previous Executive Chef, Operations Chef or equilvalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
