Large Format Digital Supervisor

Under the direction of Production Manager, the Large Format Digital Supervisor is responsible for all work performed in Large Format Printing Department to ensure the production of the highest quality products meet TI Group standards for quality and performance, customer specifications and delivery requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor production levels to ensure productivity levels are consistent with company standards and meeting delivery requirements.
- Supervisory duties as instructed by Production Manager.
- Scheduling of production through printing and finishing.
- Inventory counts.
- Managing preventative maintenance.
- Purchasing of consumables.
- Quality Control.
- Address and resolve inquiries from Customers and Account Managers and issues related to printing.
- Approve daily Job Costs.
- Schedule personnel to meet production assignment, minimizing overtime costs on an on-going basis.
- Order and maintain inventory of production components required for manufacturing.
- Participate on cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes, methods, productivity and quality while reducing costs.
- Maintain close contact with scheduling regarding manufacturing issues and/or delays.
- Ensure the documented procedure and test for Knowledge & Skill of new and present employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the company’s standards for quality, quantity and safety in accordance with the company’s principles.
- Keep senior management informed on general conditions and on matters of importance which could impact

quality, cost, safety or employee performance.
- Develop and maintain positive employee relations and ensure open lines of communications with employees.
- Ensure the department employees are in compliance with all safety and work rules and regulations.

**Education/Experience**:

- Post secondary education. Including college or university in graphic arts.
- Over 5 years supervisory related experience in Large Format production.
- Color management certificate or related training.
- Detailed knowledge of all production equipment, processes and their limitations.
- Strong knowledge of Large Format printing industry.
- Significant knowledge in materials typically used in Large Format print production.
- Strong understanding of brands and grades of substrates.
- Well developed calculating skills; experience with estimation production timelines.
- Strong communication skills. Able to clearly explain complex situation to a broad ranges of audience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflict.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, continually prioritizing and multi-tasking.

**Job Type: Full Time/ 40 hrs. per week/Shifts may change based on needs of Company.**
