**Location**: Edmonton or Calgary
**Job overview**: The primary accountability of this role is to drive the adoption of designated product(s) jointly with the sales organization. The key deliverable is effective sales enablement through planning, communication, and support.
**Reports to**: Director of Marketing & Product Development
**Hours of work**: Generally, BGE’s office hours are from 8:00AM - 4:30 PM however working outside of regular hours may be required as business opportunities arise.
**Tasks, duties and responsibilities**:
- Product championing: build product positioning and lead its implementation with internal stakeholders.
**o. Product positioning**: create internal positioning strategy and documents used to develop external messaging focused on buyers and users.
**p. Stakeholder communication**: manage proactive communications with relevant stakeholders (ex. product owners, sales team, product fulfillment, etc.) from strategy through execution.
- Awareness & adoption: create and drive product marketing plans to spread awareness as well as prospect nurturing plans to accelerate adoption.
**q. Marketing plan**: articulate the strategies and tactics for generating awareness and leads for the upcoming fiscal period, including key programs and events with measurements and goals.
**r. Nurturing**: develop programs to move prospects quickly and effectively through the funnel, with the objective of helping sales turn prospects into satisfied customers.
- Sales support: build and maintain the required product sales tools and provide product sales training.
**s. Sales tools**: create tools for the sales team focused on specific steps of the selling process.
**t. Product sales training**: design and deliver training programs to help the sales team drive product adoption.
**Physical requirements**:
- Standing; walking; bending; occasional exposure to dusty environments and extreme temperatures, heights, noise and heavy lifting up to 23kg (50lbs).
**Knowledge, skills, abilities and other competencies**:
- Be someone with outstanding organizational skills and solid project management acumen.
- Be someone with interest in both the commercial and technical aspects of products and services.
- Have knowledge of customers, BGE core competencies, and have prior related sales and/or marketing experience.
- Must be able to pass Pre-Employment/Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol Tests.
- Be highly self-motivated and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Industrial Sales preferably in HVAC-related field.
- Be engaging. You have a proven ability to develop successful, strategic, working relationships.
**Other requirements**:
- Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license and provincial driver’s abstract
- Ability to travel on a regular basis (mostly within Canada, occasionally USA)
