Garaga Inc. is seeking a **HR Business Partner for its plant in Barrie**, someone who plays a front-line advisory role with our different stakeholders in our plant in Ontario. We are looking for someone who brings solutions through their analytical skills and in-depth knowledge in HR best practices, with a focus on industrial relations. A HR business partner who develops HR tools, policies & practices to maintain a balance between culture, employee engagement & organizational effectiveness.

**HR Business Partner - Barrie Key Responsibilities**:
Under the supervision of the General Manager of the plant, you will play an advisory role to support our partners in the implementation of human resources management best practices. You will be the reference regarding HR policies, processes, and programs. You will support our local partners in tackling HR challenges with a smile.
- Provides front-line support to managers and partners.
- Participates in the development of human resources tools and procedures.
- Participates in activities related to the pay equity process.
- Provides support and information to our partners on HR programs and policies.
- Participates in health safety committees and follows up on work accident files.
- Ensures the implementation and follow-up of training activities.
- Last but not least, plays a key advisory role in terms of industrial relations.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, HR Management or any other related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Solid analytical skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal & communication skills.
- Sense of initiative, intrapreneurship & positive leadership style.
- Direct experience with Health & Safety an asset.
- CHRP certification or in the process of obtaining it, an asset.
