**ROLE PURPOSE**:
The HR Generalist will oversee broad range of HR-related responsibilities for Northlake Financial. This includes but is not limited to, talent acquisition, hiring, onboarding, training & development, and employee performance and evaluations.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage full-cycle talent acquisition process.
- Employee handbook management and policy creation.
- Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve issues that may arise.
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and rich culture of productivity.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
- Conducts exit interviews with employees and compiles reports.
- Maintain HRIS with accurate employee files and records.
- Support in employee engagement activities and events.
- Conduct and maintain employee surveys such as eNPS and employee wellbeing and communicating feedback to managers and executives.
- Work closely with Payroll and ensuring HRIS up to date with new hires, terminations, salary increases, ROE, payroll deductions, benefit monitoring, time off policies and other related tasks.
- Ensure compliance with ESA, Health and Safety and other regulating bodies.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- HR Certification (in progress will be considered)
- 1 year HR experience as an asset
- Good knowledge of employment/labour laws
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with HRIS (BambooHR preferred)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem solving
