**Position Summary**

**Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility**
- The IDE BA will:_
- Evaluate AJISS business processes for the purpose of deriving requirements for the IDE Enabling System, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and documenting design solutions for the AJISS IDE.
- Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders.
- Conduct interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
- Work with stakeholders and the project team to prioritize collected requirements.
- Assist in conducting research on products to meet agreed upon requirements.
- Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
- Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
- Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
- Develop and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
- Assist with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options and communicating these back to the business stakeholders.

**Minimum Requirements: Skills, Experience, Education, Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Certifications, Language**

Skills and Abilities:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Demonstrable recent experience analyzing modern enterprise software solutions.
- Ability to document information in a logical and simple manner.
- Proficient in business modeling using Visio or other modeling tool.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills in the English language, written and verbal.

Education/Experience:

- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Engineering, IT or Computer Science from a recognized technical institute.
