We are looking for a dynamic and talented Hotel Maintenance Manager to join our team at Muir, a unique luxury hotel located on the beautiful waterfront of Halifax Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, as the Hotel Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for keeping our hotel in pristine shape, Presenting the property in a first-class manner, and ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

As the Hotel Maintenance Manager, you'll get to:

- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Work with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs and upgrades.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to keep our hotel running smoothly.
- Train and supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
- Light maintenance, property protection, guest services and responding to and testing of building systems (example: fire alarms)
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

What we're looking for:

- At least 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- A keen eye for detail
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- A flexible schedule, with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
