**The salary range for this position is**:
**Recruitment range: $73,548- $81,092** starting salary determined by the PEA Collective Agreement.

**Performance range: starting salary to max of $95,658** is available through annual performance increases.

- Job SummaryThe GSB offers Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Business Administration, Master of Global Business and a PhD in International Management and Organization all of which have an international focus embedded in their curricula and a strong co-op component. Scholarship and teaching at the School are strongly aligned around our areas of specialization (International Business, Entrepreneurship, Service Management, and Sustainability). We are a pioneer and leader in integrating curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate level and a strong contributor to business research particularly in our areas of expertise.

The Undergraduate Programs unit runs five cohorts of sixty students each per year, broken down between the domestic and international programs (approximately 1,000+ students annually), plus our Business Minor program of approximately two hundred students per year. The student base is made up of local, national and international students. These diverse groups require very different service strategies and resources.

Under the direction of the Director Administration, Undergraduate Programs, the Assistant Director, Undergraduate Programs will manage administrative functions for the admissions, advising and recruitment areas in the Undergraduate Programs Office at Gustavson. The position is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating practices, standards, services or projects related to recruitment, admissions, retention, student support, and advising. Also included is overseeing student registration, creating detailed reports on enrollment, and selecting applicants for admission (on the advice of the Admissions Officers). Other major responsibilities include supervising academic advising staff within the unit, contributing to services to support conditions for student success, and providing key support to the Director of Administration.
- Job RequirementsThis position requires a Master's degree in Business, Public Administration or other appropriate discipline, and a minimum of 5 years of related post-secondary experience including:

- Program advising, student recruitment, counseling, supervision and team leadership
- Diverse work environments and sensitivity to other cultures
- Management and administration of human, financial and physical resources

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

In addition this position requires:

- Strong team leadership, and written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively problem solve, prioritize, and manage projects in a complex department
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills in order to gather, collate, analyze, and report on data
- Ability to lead diverse teams to implement results-based strategies in a complex, changing and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Superior organizational skills to effectively manage a considerable workload with multiple priorities and demands, in
