**Position Details**
The administrative assistant will perform a wide variety of administrative tasks. The individual will work with the owners and management staff to complete office duties, and ensure an organized and professional work environment.
**Responsibilities Include**:
- Perform general secretarial duties: answering and directing phone calls, receiving and distributing incoming packages, making photocopies, filing and preparing mail
- Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business, direct visitors to appropriate person and record their visit for food safety purposes
- Create, edit and maintain a variety of reports, PowerPoints, and booklets
- Perform a variety of data entry tasks
- Oversee food safety documents, ensuring all documents are complete and organized correctly
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of employer
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
- Help create excel documents for use throughout the company
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings
- Arrange travel schedules and make reservations
- Perform other duties as assigned
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Google Calendar
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrate high level of confidentiality
- Demonstrate professionalism
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
**Education & Experience**:
- Post secondary education
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English - both written and verbal
- Exposure to administrative and office duties
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
