**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Manage client relationships, including follow-up on client documents and collections.
- Maintain client files and client database.
- Provide support for bookkeeping and year-end preparation.
- Provide administrative support, including clerical tasks such as managing phones, filing, data entry, and document management.
- Communicate and liaise with CRA on behalf of clients and team members.
- Year-end preparation support for accounting technicians.
- Maintain the office calendar, coordinating client and team meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as necessary.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective team management practices.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions without losing focus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with business processes and general tax is preferred.
- Comfortable using and learning a variety of computer software programs.
- Proficiency in MS Office products: Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Typing skills of 50 wpm.

Hours of Work:

- Non-tax season - Monday to Thursday, 8:00 - 4:00
- Tax season - Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 4:00 with some weekend & longer hours ad hoc

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (required)
