**The Role**: Asset Protection Manager
**Principal Responsibilities**:
- Analyze store shrink performance, identify store/region specific trends, utilize Asset Protection tools including Inventory Reports, Pharmacy Reporting, Alarm System Management, CCTV, and Asset Protection review results to address deficiencies and monitor corrective action.
- Utilize exception reporting, tips, CCTV and POS data to identify incidents of fraud, trends, policy and procedure violations, maintain case files, logs and reports.
- Investigate incidents of theft and fraud, and partner with applicable District Leaders and Human Resources Managers during course of the investigation.
- Collaborate closely with local law enforcement, colleagues within the AP industry, professional security/loss prevention associations to identify various trends.
- Facilitate meetings and training to all levels of store operations to provide quality learning and coaching to promote standard methodology sharing and learning opportunities.
- Support and attend High Risk Stores inventories and provide assessment and action plans as required dependent on results
- Provide Health and Safety guidance to District Leaders and store managers through call discussion, review findings and incident reports.
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
- 2-3 years College diploma in a relevant field.
- 7 years of loss prevention/asset protection management experience or an equivalent level of industry specific management experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems, CCTV, Exception Reporting, and Intrusion Detection Alarm Systems and Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS).
- Proven analytical ability and investigative skills.
- Health and Safety background or training (preferred)
- Knowledge of investigation techniques, evidence gathering, rules of evidence, court procedures and regulatory and compliance procedures.
