**Job purpose**:
We are looking for an experienced and data-driven Country Manager for Canada to lead our market strategy and operations. You will be responsible for managing the performance of our Canadian market operations, with a focus on growth, profitability, and balancing business objectives with compliance requirements. You will work in a matrix structure, closely collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a Canadian market focus across all functions. This role requires a deep understanding of the Canadian iGaming landscape, particularly sports betting, and a proven ability to drive business results.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute the market strategy for Canada, identifying growth opportunities and creating action plans for market penetration and scaling.
- Manage the operational performance of our Canadian business, ensuring financial targets and KPIs are met.
- Collaborate with central marketing, product, and BI teams to optimize acquisition, retention, and user engagement in the Canadian market.
- Evaluate market trends and customer behaviors to inform product and marketing strategies.
- Work with external partners, including influencers, media, affiliates, and payment providers, to ensure smooth market operations.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the Canadian market to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
- Stay informed of industry developments and regulatory changes, assessing and optimizing their commercial impact on the business.
- Utilize both internal and external data sources to generate actionable insights that inform and support business decisions.

**Preferred Skills, Experience, and Qualifications**:

- Familiarity with Pinnacle and an understanding of its business model.
- Experience in monitoring and optimizing commercial performance metrics within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Commercial or marketing background within the sports betting industry is preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategies to enhance commercial performance.
- Experience using data-driven insights to inform business decisions and improve outcomes continuously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience working across diverse teams, including commercial, research, and product development departments.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and influence decision-making.
- Capacity to produce insightful reports and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in conducting competitor analysis, market research, and commercial forecasting.
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on market expansion and profitability.

**Other**:

- In-office presence of min. 2 days is required. 3 days are preferred.
