Le mandat de l'agent de promotion est de promouvoir les trois programmes de langues officielles (Odyssée, Explore et Destination Clic) dans le but d'augmenter le nombre de participants ainsi que de promouvoir le programme de moniteur de langue à temps partiel et les bourses pour les étudiants.

**Tâches**:

- Organiser des visites dans des établissements d'enseignement partout en Nouvelle-Écosse, sous la supervision du coordonnateur provincial.
- Organiser des visites à d'autres organisations ou événements pertinents (par exemple, des foires d'information, des événements éducatifs en soirée, des salons de l'emploi).
- Promouvoir les programmes en préparant et en faisant des présentations énergiques dans les salles de classe, les kiosques et divers autres groupes.
- Tenir le coordonnateur provincial informé de votre itinéraire, de vos visites et d'autres tâches sur une base hebdomadaire.
- S'acquitte d'autres tâches liées au programme, sur demande.
- Préparer les rapports de fin d'année.
- Représenter le Conseil des ministres de l'Éducation (Canada) [CMEC] et le ministère de l'Éducation et du Développement de la petite enfance (MEDPE) de manière professionnelle.
- Déplacements en Nouvelle-Écosse (nécessaire).
- Travail de soir ou de fin de semaine (peut être nécessaire)

**Qualifications requises**:

- Avoir terminé au moins une année d'études postsecondaires. La préférence peut être accordée à ceux qui possèdent un diplôme ou un certificat de premier cycle d'un établissement d'enseignement postsecondaire.
- Niveau de bilinguisme avancé du français et de l’anglais.
- Avoir un permis de conduire valide.
- Avoir accès à un véhicule.
- Être dynamique et avoir une personnalité enthousiaste.
- Être capable de travailler de façon autonome ou en groupe.
- Avoir de solides compétences organisationnelles.
- Avoir d'excellentes compétences en gestion du temps.
- Avoir de l'expérience à faire des présentations à des groupes et de la prise de parole en public sera considérée comme un atout important.
- Expérience ou éducation dans les relations publiques, les ventes, la promotion, et le marketing seront considérées comme un atout.
- Expérience avec l'un ou l'ensemble des trois programmes de langues officielles (Odyssée, Explore et Destination Clic) sera considérée comme un atout.
- Expérience avec le Programme de moniteur de langue à temps partiel de la Nouvelle-Écosse sera considérée comme un atout.

**Job description**

The promotion agent mandate is to promote the three Official Languages Programs (Odyssey, Explore and Destination Clic) with the goal of increasing the number of participants as well as promoting the part time language assistant program and the bursaries for students.

**Duties**
- Organize visits to educational institutions throughout Nova Scotia, under the supervision of the provincial coordinator.
- Arrange visits to other relevant organization or events (for example, information fairs, educational evening events, employment fairs).
- Promote the programs by preparing and making energetic presentations in classroom settings, kiosks and various other groups.
- Keep the provincial coordinator informed about your itinerary, visits, and other tasks on a weekly basis.
- Performs other program-related duties as requested.
- Prepares end of year reports.
- Represents the Council of Ministers of Education (Canada) [CMEC] and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD) in a professional manner.
- Travel in Nova Scotia (necessary).
- Evening or weekend work (may be necessary)

**Qualifications**
- Have completed at least one year of post-secondary studies. Preference may be given to those who possess an undergraduate degree or certificate from a postsecondary institution.
- Be fluent in French and English.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Have access to a vehicle.
- Be dynamic and have an enthusiastic personality.
- Be able to work independently or in a group.
- Have strong organizational skills.
- Have excellent time management skills.
- Experience presenting to groups and public speaking will be considered an important asset.
