Floral Sales Support Team Member

Maintaining inventory integrity will be a component of the role in conducting accurate transactions when completing sales order entries, order fulfillment, and invoice processing via POS system and internally developed software. Staff working around customers shopping through our sales cooler are expected to maintain a helpful and friendly demeanor.

**Work Schedules: (Permanent, Full-time)**

Sunday - Thursday:

- Sunday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Monday-Thursday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Monday - Friday:

- 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

**Primary Duties**:
Duties consistent with the position of Sale Support in the Fresh Flowers division and such other duties that may reasonably be assigned:

- Assisting the sales team by performing administrative and clerical task such as, picking, verification and order entry.
- Providing troubleshooting assistance for customer orders and relevant problems.
- POS invoicing for out-of-town orders and walk-in customers, as well as processing of credits and returns to inventory.
- Quality control of fragile and perishable products, including care and maintenance.
- Coverage of sales staff vacation periods, including customer relationship care.
- Maintain helpful and friendly communication with customers and staff.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to work in temperature-controlled coolers as low as 4 degrees Celsius.
- Must be physically fit and able to safely lift, pull, and push up to and including 40lbs. This will include full cases of product and buckets of water containing product.
- Must demonstrate care in handling various fragile and perishable products.
- Must be punctual, organized, self-motivated, and able to work to a high degree of accuracy either independently or with other team members.
- Must always observe safety protocols on site.
- Must maintain approachability and courteous conduct with customers and fellow staff.
- High capability in problem-solving and proactive communication skills.
- High capability in taking direction, multi-tasking, and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
- Customer service experience is an asset.
- Sales experience is an asset.
- Computer software literacy is an asset in maintaining inventory integrity, order entry, and invoicing of customer orders (including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, POS software, and internally developed tools).
