The Bar Manager will be part of our dynamic management team that has a foundation of inspiration leadership and a passion for excellence. The Bar Manager will be overseeing a wide range of activities from day to day operations and seasonal menu development to staff training and upholding The Raven Room’s values and guest engagement.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in service four days a week with one day for office tasks
- Provide incredible guest experiences by ensuring a high level of service and fostering relationships with guests
- Ensure guest drinks are prepared and served efficiently and according to our standards
- Constantly strive to improve the standards of hygiene and service throughout the bar
- Bar scheduling
- Set a good example for the staff with regard to punctuality, attendance, attitude and hygiene
- Stay current on global trends in cocktail development
- Curate a collaborative winter and spring cocktail menu with our bar team
- Assess staff training needs and provide or bring in relevant training
- Create information sheets and training meetings for staff on new products
- Bar inventory, product ordering and stocking
- Pull and analyze reporting
- Communicate regularly with ownership
- Update website, POS and BevSpot with new products and recipes
- Receive and put away orders

- Interest in new technology to improve restaurant operations and willing to adapt to new systems or integrate new systems for efficiency and accuracy
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to POS and inventory management system
- Ability to craft and cost a profitable drink menu, analyze reporting and adjust accordingly
- Execute and optimize inventory tracking
- Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to pick up weekly liquor order and move inventory to and from storage

EXPERIENCE
- Bar or restaurant management experience required
- Experienced cocktail bartender with a minimum of 3 year’s experience

WAGE + BENEFITS
- $20 per hour
