Every student has different needs and that’s what tutoring is all about. By connecting with each student and understanding their unique learning style, challenges, and motivation, we can understand how the student will learn the material best. We aim to help students stay on top of their school work, develop better learning and studying habits, prepare for exams, as well as develop effective organizational skills. We do this by offering reliable and affordable online and in-person tutoring and coaching services.

**Rate**:
- $19 - $25 at learning centre / virtual

**Who You Are?**
- A native French speaker
- Have great written and verbal communication skills (in French)
- Empathetic and enthusiastic towards students
- Encourage and help students to be independent learners
- Understanding of the struggles of students and being respectful of them as well
**What does the job look like**:
- Diagnose the student’s learning and academic level
- Write and prepare lesson plans ahead of your sessions
- Find creative ways to teach and explain concepts to the students
- Connect and build a relationship with the student to build their motivation and confidence
- Assign homework as needed to help the students perform better
- Submit post-session reports
- Occasionally, we might ask for progress reports with the students
- At VICI Learning, you will enjoy the help of our collaborative tutors to perform the tasks above. Our coaches will be available to assist you and develop the skills you need to help students learn better.

**Requirements**:
- Completed or currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program in British Columbia
- A native French speaker or Dual Dogwoord Diploma
- Minimum 3 years of tutoring experience in formal or informal setting
- Good academic standing
- Minimum 2 years of formal employment in any field. Customer service experience is a strong asset.
- Able and willing to travel to students’ homes
- Class 5 Driver’s License is an asset
- Willing to submit a Criminal Record Check
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 19 - 30 per week
