We do this by offering reliable and affordable **online** and **in-person tutoring** and **coaching services**.

**What does the job look like**:

- Diagnose the student’s learning and academic level
- Write and prepare lesson plans ahead of your sessions
- Find creative ways to teach and explain concepts to the students
- Connect and build a relationship with the student to build their motivation and confidence
- Assign homework as needed to help the students perform better
- Submit post-session reports
- Occasionally, we might ask for progress reports with the students

**We are hiring part-time English tutors (K to 12). **This position does not involve teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) but instead focuses on enhancing English proficiency for native or advanced English speakers.

**Requirements**:

- Completed or currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program in British Columbia
- Minimum 3 years of English tutoring experience in formal or informal setting
- Good academic standing
- Minimum 2 years of formal employment in any field. Customer service experience is a strong asset.
- Able and willing to travel to students’ homes
- Class 5 Driver’s License is an asset
- Willing to submit a Criminal Record Check
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
