**Aerostream is looking for a committed, hardworking, and responsible individual to join our team as an Operations Accounting Supervisor, full-time in an in-office role.**

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this is a dynamic role in which you will be responsible for reviewing procedures and overseeing process improvement implementations, collaborating on projects with various departments, and reviewing day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

**Job Summary**:

- Collaborate with various operations departments to review and improve accounting workflows
- Review Accounts Receivable and Billing processes for accuracy and process improvements
- Work with the accounting team to monitor/forecast cash flow and foreign exchange
- Manage/prepare/review monthly quality assurance checks and control procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Manage/prepare/review/present month end financials and analysis for multiple entities in Canada and the US
- Prepare/review data analytics for presentation to the senior leadership team
- Prepare/review key KPI reporting for presentation to the senior leadership team
- Participate in management meetings and strategic planning sessions
- Review/prepare year-end working papers and coordinate with the external accountants
- Review/prepare/file various State/Provincial/Federal filing requirements for sales, taxes and etcetera
- Oversee and provide recommendations for customer credit terms and agreements
- Assist the senior leadership team in building pricing analytics and forecasting models
- Budgeting and forecasting on an ad-hoc basis
- Other duties and responsibilities as required

**Shift Times**:
8:30am-5:00pm, in office Monday to Friday

**Required Qualifications**:

- Working towards or have a recognized professional accounting designation
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge in a multi-currency and multi-entity environment an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Online and Desktop versions an asset
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Excel or ChatGPT prompt skills
- Previous experience in the Transportation Logistics Industry a plus
- Proven ability to multi-task, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure to meet competing objectives
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Exceptional customer service attitude and approach
- Good organizational, multitasking and time management skills
- Quick learner and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Able to assess stressful situations in a calm manner and make decisions based on changing information
- Fun, positive, and professional attitude

**Compensation**:
$70,000-85,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience

**Location**:
Richmond, BC

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
