**Position Title: Operations Supervisor**

**Team and Location: Commercial - Richmond Hill, ON**

**Position Summary**:
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Branch. We are looking for an individual who will take pride in the Branch and will work to build the business and operate in a safe and efficient manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervision of staff including hiring, performance management & salary recommendations.
- A safety leader within the Branch ensuring the highest safety standards are being met
- Ensures all drivers are following proper safety procedures and ensures training is provided should it be required
- Conducts site inspections and workplace observations regularly to ensure compliance
- Ensures safety and regulatory standards are all up to date within the territory to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Ensures the facility and its employees are complying with all safety procedures set by the company.
- Manages fuel inventory control for the facility.
- Ensuring our customers get the best possible service always.
- Site Maintenance - working with contractors when required.
- Store stock control - ensuring inventory levels are kept at an appropriate level.
- Office Administration - completing reports as required by head office.
- Month-end close procedures.
- Oversee the process of accepting payments and cash handling.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- University degree or College diploma in a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience with a focus in operations management, fuel industry experience is a definite asset.
- Must have a valid Drivers License and an abstract in good standing
- Experience working with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of JDE is considered an asset.
- Previous supervisory experience managing a team.
