The Community Engagement Manager at CHEFS HALL will be a vibrant and engaging person who loves to connect with businesses and the downtown community to bring in events. CHEFS HALL is a chef-driven food hall in the downtown core of Toronto's financial district. A unique 18,000 sq. ft. space with 3 full service bars, 2 patios, and space for 1,000 guests. We are home to over 10 international vendors and are a foodie's dream destination and our events and hospitality are what keeps our guests coming back.

Responsibilities include:

- Curating, organizing, and hosting internal events in relation to sports/cultural days/etc.
- Connecting and engaging with businesses and individuals in the community to host their events at CHEFS HALL
- Meeting with conference centres, hotels, music venues, and more to bring in events or promote CHEFS HALL inside their space
- Meeting with company event planners in the surrounding area and coordinating repeat corporate clients
- Connecting with event planners and promoting CHEFS HALL as a space to their clients
- Coordinating with our marketing team to promote internal events
- Finding sponsorship opportunities for internal events that align with the CHEFS HALL brand and alcohol programming
- Guiding site tours for potential clients
- Offering CHEFS HALL membership with corporate HR

$50,000 starting salary annually.
Commission of net sales from internal events.
Finders fee of net sales for definite events booked with the Events Team.
Benefits offered.
Full-time permanent position.
On site with some travel within the city.
The role is new and may evolve with time.
