**Your opportunity**:
The Office of the Faculty Registrar works closely with departments and colleges at the University of Toronto, concerning virtually all matters relating to Arts and Science students. Our department members are dedicated to aid all students to the greatest extent, to make their university experience as smooth and seamless as possible. We coordinate personal, financial, academic counselling, registration and enrolment, student records, transfer credit, petitions, final examinations, and graduation.

Under the general direction of the Associate Director, Undergraduate Awards, the Undergraduate Awards Coordinator is responsible for administering the undergraduate awards by the Office of the Faculty Registrar (OFR) and providing assistance in the areas of financial administration.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Analyzing processes and recommending changes for more efficient coordination of operations
- Providing proactive support to individuals in distress and making referrals to specific university services
- Tracking and monitoring distribution of awards
- Checking that applicants meet the requirements outlined in the awards criteria
- Liaising with donors and advancement staff regarding financial awards
- Disseminating information regarding the disbursement of awards
- Analyzing complex statistical reports and/or financial information for management decision-making

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum of four (4) years of recent and related experience in awards, financial aid and grant administration in a university setting.
- Experience working with awards procedures and guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience with the student award selection process in a University environment.
- Extensive experience with ROSI, HRIS, FIS or similar systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated superior interpersonal skills with excellent customer service orientation and ability to deal tactfully, personably and effectively with staff, students, and all other stakeholders.
- Advanced skills with MS Office (e.g. Excel and Word) and database management.
- Ability to deal personally and effectively with staff, students, and all other stakeholders.
- Must possess initiative, tact and good judgment as well as sensitivity and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritize work.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
