WINGS - Women In Need Growing Stronger, is currently recruiting for a full-time (37.5 hours/ week), Facility Manager in South-East Edmonton. WINGS is a non-profit agency that provides second-stage shelter, affordable housing and wrap around support services for women and children who have experienced family violence.

Summary:
Job Duties:

- Respond to tenant inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Handle lease agreements, renewals, and terminations.
- Coordinate with tenants for property inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
- Create and manage property budgets, including operating expenses and capital improvements.
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and renovations.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers.
- Identify and address potential risks to property safety, security, and compliance.
- Implement emergency response plans and procedures for various scenarios.
- Stay informed about local, provincial, and federal laws and regulations related to property management.
- Handle evictions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records, including leases, contracts, and correspondence.
- Coordinate property inspections, assessments, and appraisals as needed.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing paperwork, processing invoices, and managing correspondence.
- Supervising a small team of security/ reception staff.
- Working with vulnerable women and children.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Property management knowledge and experience
- Minimum grade 12
- Valid First Aid, current Criminal Record Check and Intervention Check required.
- Must be able to receive direction and be self-directed, decisive, and flexible.
- Strong written and verbal language skills
- Computer use: Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
- Supervisory Skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience working with diverse and multi-cultural communities.

Remuneration:
WINGS offers holiday pay and a generous benefits package. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Hours of Work:
37.5 hours per week.
