We are currently looking for a motivated a team-oriented individual to join our Operations team in Edmonton, Alberta as a **Maintenance Coordinator**

**Here are the main responsibilities for the Maintenance Coordinator**:

- Responsible to coordinate Quadra maintenance activities for Edmonton and support for Quadra Clairmont
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize or eliminate impact to operations
- Manage and develop a robust preventative maintenance program
- Responsible to create, track and manage maintenance work orders
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead/implement projects to improve efficiency, safety, quality and lower costs
- Supervise contractors and external consultants for all maintenance activity
- Propose, plan and manage capital projects for site improvements
- Ensure maintenance contractors are qualified by Quadra and all contractors receive site orientations
- Assess equipment criticality and insure critical spare parts are on hand
- Investigate equipment failures/issues, determine root causes and provide corrective actions
- Lead and monitor rail maintenance requirements, as required by Alberta Transport, supported by Quadra management
- Oversee and organize maintenance of Quadra buildings, personally performing some of the basic maintenance tasks
- Recommend equipment and process improvements
- Perform other duties in operations as assigned by the Regional Operations Manager

**What are the requirements and skills that we are looking for?**:

- High School education minimum, experience with trades would be an asset
- Forth Class Power Engineering ticket or commitment to obtain
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience working with bulk chemicals is an asset, including dangerous goods
- Strong mechanical aptitude with general experience across a broad range of equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, instrumentation, valves & piping, pumps, rail, boilers, etc.)
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills, regularly working with contractors and colleagues
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawing, plans and specifications
- Ability to problem solve, multi-task and set priorities while working independently in a high-performance team culture
- Strong computer skills (spreadsheets, asset maintenance programs, Oracle)
- Experience managing small projects would be an asset
- Experience with Lean practices is an asset
- Good physical condition: Ability to lift 25kg
- Responsible for reading, creating and updating policies, procedures and protocols
- Occasional after-hours work could be required to minimize impact to operations
- Attend and contribute to site toolbox meetings including providing accurate updates on planned maintenance work by contractors
- Ability to travel tu support both Edmonton and Grande Prairie's facilities
