**Role: Marketing Manager
**About the opportunity**

This role is based in St. George, ON, Canada.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop expert knowledge of products in the assigned portfolio, serve as information resource to sales and internal teams.
- Work with Director of Marketing and VP of Sales to develop quarterly and annual Marketing Plans, including development of communication initiatives, sales, marketing programs to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with sales to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to support key accounts and channels.
- Create promotional materials, including point-of-sale displays, signage, and marketing collateral, to support trade marketing initiatives.
- Oversee all aspects of public relations, including media relations and press releases, to maintain a positive brand image and enhance visibility.
- Plan and execute product launches, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution from concept to launch ensuring the successful rollout of new products.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and industry stakeholders to secure press coverage and endorsements.
- Manage ambassador and affiliate programs. Continuously assess and optimize the programs to maximize their effectiveness and track performance.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and maintain marketing materials and initiatives that support lead generation and sales enablement efforts.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive insights, and opportunities for growth in the hockey and racquet sports industry.
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data to inform decision-making and optimize strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and proactively seek out opportunities to innovate and improve our marketing efforts.
- Participate in assigned corporate initiatives as marketing champion to develop cross-functional expertise and optimization (e.g. ecommerce, website, PIM software).

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of marketing experience..
- Proven experience in marketing management, with a focus on public relations, product launches, and ambassador programs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that drive results.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Exceptional copywriting skills with respect to marketing collateral (brochures, website etc.).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms is a plus.
