Project Manager, Data Centre Construction

**Responsibilities**:
- **Project Planning and Initiation**:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential obstacles and mitigation strategies.
- **Project Execution and Monitoring**:
- Lead project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Resolve issues and conflicts that may arise during the course of the project.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- **Stakeholder Communication**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators.
- Address client concerns and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- **Resource Management**:
- Coordinate with resource managers to allocate personnel, equipment, and materials according to project requirements.
- Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure adherence to contractual agreements and performance standards.
- Optimize resource utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- **Quality Assurance and Compliance**:
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Facilitate inspections and audits to validate adherence to quality and safety standards.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in data center construction or related infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.

**Experience**:
- Project management: 5 years (preferred)
- Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM: 2 years (preferred)
- Microsoft Office suite, and Microsoft Project: 2 years (required)
- Procore software: 2 years (preferred)
