Job Post - Office Manager

Job description
On a contractual basis for a 1-year term, with the possibility of extending.

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day office operations and tasks, including scheduling meetings, maintaining office supplies, and coordinating maintenance and repair services as needed.
- Process mortgage agent payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain employee records, including personnel files and payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate and process new hire paperwork, including employment agreements, FSRA forms, and other necessary documents.
- Coordinate and assist with recruiting efforts, including posting job listings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement company-wide policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that all deals going through the brokerage are compliant as per FSRA regulations.

Qualifications:

- At least 2 years of experience in office management and payroll processing, with a track record of success.
- Basic understanding of payroll processes, and some experience with payroll software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and Google Workplace Platform.
