Your Role and Responsibilities
Introduction
Product Marketing at IBM is at the intersection of marketing, product management, sales, and business partner engagement.
In this role, you will be embedded with the software product team, working to articulate the point of view and messaging for a new IBM product line. You’ll help the team accelerate organic growth of this key PLG product line by engaging our customers with value-driven messaging that speaks to their business challenges.
We are seeking a product marketing champion to create differentiated messaging that meets our buyers and users where they are. You’ll help us drive growth against our north star metric - in addition to metrics like new signings, retention rates, average customer value, absolute and trend NPS, market segment share, win/loss rate, analyst ranking, and social influence. You will be part of the product team within IBM’s Automation business unit and a key stakeholder in driving the future of IBM’s Software Networking business and PLG offerings. You’ll also work closely with colleagues on the marketing team to incorporate product messaging into demand generation campaigns, business partner outreach efforts, sales enablement, and marketing collateral.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ Years Product Marketing Experience
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience working with Software networking products and/or services and specific knowledge of authoritative DNS a plus. Experience with SaaS or PLG offerings. Knowledge of IBM's Automation portfolio.
