- Under the direction of the Manager, Marketing and Operations and the Manager, Communications, the Marketing & Communications Supervisor is responsible for the reputation of the College through the planning, creation, implementation and assessment of department and faculty marketing projects, and internal and external communications. In conjunction with MCO senior leaders, the MCO Supervisor determines department
- and faculty-specific marketing and communication goals, and sets strategies in line with the College strategic plan. This position monitors work to ensure consistency of messaging and visual identity across all marketing and communications channels and vehicles, and directly supervises communications coordinators and designers in the production of materials and messaging.**Responsibilities**

**1. Develops marketing and communications campaign/project plans of all scales and complexities, and presents strategic communication and marketing direction to senior leadership across various faculties and departments.**

**a)**
**Research and analysis**:

- Performs strategic research and analysis to inform the direction of marketing and communications campaigns, including but not limited to Google analytics, website analytics, social media analytics, survey data, focus group data, reviews and related feedback, and enrolment data;
- Organizes and leads focus groups which provide vital feedback to ensure that the College is meeting the needs of the users;
- Develops effective surveys to collect user feedback;
- Develops and maintains tools and a strict schedule of when and how data is collected through various digital avenues, and how these metrics are stored and tracked;
- Liaises with senior leaders from other departments and faculties to determine successes or pitfalls of previously initiated campaigns and collects qualitative/quantitative data to support better decision making for future initiatives;
- Identifies new data needs to support effective decision making, and determines new research techniques to gather such data to ensure that the College marketing and communication campaigns are aligned with industry trends;
- Reviews, analyzes and interprets complex data into valuable business insight and knowledge by identifying trends/patterns and presenting this information to leaders across the College in the form of comprehensible graphs, data models, presentations, tables, descriptive statistics, and more.

**b)**
**Strategic goal setting and project plan development**:

- Evaluates marketing and communication requests from Deans/Associate Deans, Directors/Managers, and other leaders across the College, and counsels clients on industry and College-specific best-practice for marketing and communications;
- Determines scope of MCO support required based on the clients’ needs assessment, and develops the appropriate marketing/communication plan and timelines for projects;
- Creates marketing and/or communications plans that set-out project goals, objectives, strategies, tactics, key messaging, timelines and metrics, which are informed by client discussions, external/internal research, and consultation with the Manager, Marketing or Associate Director, Communications;
- Communicates recommendations to clients on the desired direction of the marketing and/or communication project/campaigns in order to achieve favorable results;
- Develops detailed project plans in line with College goals and strategies, in consultation and collaboration with faculty and department leadership, as well as other MCO team members;
- Promotes sharing and development of new ideas within the MCO team by facilitating team meetings to discuss project details and action items;
- Assesses client needs, MCO resource availability and sets realistic delivery dates for project requests;
- Determines how to divide responsibilities between MCO staff and employees in other departments/faculties;
- Establishes and ensures appropriate coordination, information sharing, and collaboration between MCO team members and employees from other departments/faculties by facilitating project working groups or ensuring that tasks are appropriately assigned;
- Attends and contributes to College-wide project-specific working groups, and leads project teams for communication implementation;
- Manages relationships with employees and senior leaders across the College, including correcting misinformation, responding to complaints, setting expectations that may not align with
