Automation Analyst

We are seeking an Automation Analyst to join the People Corporation team in our Winnipeg or Toronto office
This role is responsible for working with our team to review current processes and to minimize manual tasks by creating automated solutions. This position will be instrumental in helping the team improve quality and turnaround times by streamlining current tasks.
The Automation Analyst will:
- Maintain a strong understanding of current business processes and workflows
- Identify opportunities for automation of manual tasks and processes to increase efficiency and/or reduce costs.
- Analyze user needs and recommend automated solutions that will meet those needs.
- Design and/or develop automation processes that will help streamline various tasks within the team.
- Test and debug automation solutions.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain automation solutions.
- Train users on how to use automation solutions and provide continuous support to users.
- Adhere to all corporate policies, guidelines, and statutory requirements and encourages being open to changes in policies and guidelines to reflect circumstances.
- Provide quality service to both internal and external customers.
- Analyze post-automation data to view trends in usage patterns to predict future needs.
To be successful as an Automation Analyst with People Corporation, you will need:
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software experience.
- Detail and systems oriented.
- Proactive and always willing to be on top of emerging best practices for your areas of responsibility.
- Takes initiative, solutions oriented, and able to overcome obstacles.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and provide deliverables as identified in a timely manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex problems.
- A critical thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to embrace and manage change.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A high level of productivity while ensuring standards are upheld.
- Sensitivity to confidential information
- Bilingual in English and French.
- Insurance industry experience.
