As a Collections and Accounts Receivable Analyst you will be responsible for performing accounting and credit functions on an ongoing basis.

As the Collections and Accounts Receivable Analyst you will:

- Investigate and research payment discrepancies, preparing supporting information packages and tracking, and following up on information requests.
- Establish contact with customers via inbound and outbound telephone communication, to assist with the resolution of delinquent accounts.
- Seek opportunities for process efficiencies by leveraging technology and reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues and partners throughout the company to address challenge areas and work toward continuous improvement and elimination of errors and waste.
- Address guest enquiries relating to payment activities.
- Analyze accounts receivable aging, and support managing collection risks.
- Access and understand admin-level functions on third party websites of finance providers.
- Business Administration Diploma or degree, with focus area in accounting. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in a large, fast-paced, innovative organization.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, with curiosity to understand issues to support problem solving.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs. Highly proficient in Excel and working in an automated, paperless office environment.
- Understanding of ERP systems, and ability to navigate and learn new software and systems.
- A team player, motivated by collaboration, teamwork, and problem solving.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Lean practices.
- Effective communication skills.
- Retail industry experience considered an asset.
