**The role**

As a Monitoring Specialist you will have a thorough understanding of IT Operational and Monitoring best practices, as well as practical skills in Linux system administration. You will use these skills to implement advanced monitoring across the wireless organization, maintain existing monitoring tools, and provide input into possible improvements to existing configurations and processes.

**A typical day**
- Aid in implementation of monitoring integrations with ServiceNow
- Keep monitoring agents up to date and set up according to best practices
- Document monitoring processes and standards

**Your skills/experience**
- Strong communication skills are a must.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- ServiceNow development and/or administration experience is an asset
- Operational experience in Splunk
- Must be proficient in Linux and Windows
- 3+ years of experience in implementing and supporting various monitoring systems and best practices
- 3+ years of experience with supporting or deploying various aspects of IT Infrastructure
- Post-secondary education in IT or engineering.
- Scripting experience in is an asset
