I&t Financial Analyst, Transformation Programs

We are looking for a financial analyst to join our Finance I&T team, who will be responsible for the financial follow-up of transformation programs, as well as financial support for a technology development and implementation team. You will have to track program costs, understand and control these costs vs. the business case, forecast them on a regular basis and perform month-end closing activities (entries, reconciliation, reports, etc). You will also be involved in tracking contract and requisition costs.

**YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
Manage financial monitoring of the program.

Participate in the determination of project investments (Business Case).

Maintain the project costing file and cost detail master file.

Provide financial reports and recommendations to the project management team.

Assist project managers in financial planning and cost tracking.

Collaborate with the finance team on month-end and financial planning processes (commitments, forecasts, budget, risks and opportunities).

Contribute to the accounting of various contracts and project activities with the finance team.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A CPA accounting designation would be an asset.

1 to 3 years of experience.

Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.

Outstanding analysis skills.

A strong interest in learning and maintaining effective business processes.

A good sense of initiative.

Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.

This position will be based in Valcourt, Sherbrooke or Montreal.
