**Overview**: As a Construction Project Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our construction projects by providing accurate and detailed cost estimates. You will work closely with the project management team, subcontractors, and suppliers to analyze project requirements and prepare comprehensive estimates that align with the company's goals and standards.

**Responsibilities**:
**Project Analysis**:

- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity on project scope, objectives, and specifications.

**Cost Estimation**:

- Utilize industry-standard estimating software and methodologies to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates.
- Break down project components into detailed cost elements, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor bids.
- Research and gather pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure up-to-date and competitive rates.

**Bid Preparation**:

- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that include detailed cost breakdowns, project timelines, and any special considerations.
- Present and defend estimates to internal stakeholders and external clients, addressing questions and concerns to secure project approvals.

**Vendor and Subcontractor Relations**:

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate and competitive pricing for materials and services.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids, negotiate contracts, and make recommendations for selection.

**Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of all estimates, bid proposals, and relevant correspondence.
- Provide documentation support for contract negotiations and change orders.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.

**Salary**: $24.04-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
