Pacific Coastal Airlines is seeking an **HR Assistant** (Employee Services Assistant) to join our team This position is a **full time, on-site position** based at our head office at the South Terminal of the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond.

This is a great opportunity for a new post-secondary graduate with human resources or business-related education, or someone with an office assistant background. This is an entry-level administrative assistant position within the Employee Services department. Previous human resources experience is not required and recent post-secondary school graduates will be considered.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform reception duties including greeting Employee Services office guests and answering the Employee Services phone line
- Administer YVR RAIC program and processes
- Coordinate YVR "Block B" passes
- Administer employee parking pass program and processes
- Coordinate couriers and FedEx as requested by the Employee Services team
- Order and distribute business cards and nametags
- Assist with data entry and ongoing general employee file maintenance in the HRMS
- Assist with the implementation, roll out, and ongoing configuration of Dayforce
- Assist with employee-related reporting, auditing, and data management.
- Setup, maintenance, and termination of employee credentials related to new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, etc.
- Annual renewal and maintenance of employee corporate hotel rates, discounts, and related documentation.
- Action new hire IT permissions, and current employee change/subtract permissions
- Administrate one or more employee recognition programs
- Prepare employment verification and status change letters
- Administer employee uniforms, including, set up and termination of employee uniform profiles and coordinating with uniform providers
- Maintain the Employee Services SharePoint page (e.g. update Wellness page information, document maintenance, etc)
- Assist with event planning and the coordination of employee activities
- May assist with Employee Travel administration, such as setting up and terminating employee travel profiles, processing changes to registered family members, etc.
- Administration of Employee ID cards
- Employee Store management and related projects
- Provide general administrative and office assistance to the entire Employee Services team
- Assist the Director, Employee Services and Manager, Employee Engagement with special projects
- Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**_ Education & Experience_**
- High School Diploma
- Post-Secondary education is preferred
- Administrative or office experience is preferred
- Experience using Ceridian Dayforce or another HRIS in an administrative capacity is a strong asset.

**_Skills, Knowledge and Abilities_**
- Intermediate computer skills in MS Office and ability to learn new technology quickly
- Proficient in MS Excel, including comfortable with using basic formulas and pivot tables.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills with focus on teamwork
- Strong customer service skills related to assisting internal customers
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
- Proven ability to complete tasks and achieve deadlines
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks effectively and to see them through to timely completion
- Maintain high level of professional standards at all time
- Detail-oriented
- Highly motivated and energetic
- Flexible and adaptable to change
