Aspire Richmond Support Society is a medium sized non-profit agency that provides support and
services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. We are currently accepting
**Outreach Facilitator (Full-Time 37.5 hours weekly) - Richmond, BC**

**Your Essential Skills**
- Strong communicator in written, verbal, and nonverbal areas, and respectful team players,
and sensitivity to people from diverse cultural, health and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Knowledge of and experience working with community resources.
- Strong planning skills in areas of daily living, but not limited to housing, life-skills, leisure lifestyle
and access; as well as employment and education for persons supported. Actively working
with the person to create a mutually agreed support plan that has short and long term goals.
Interact with other professionals, family members, and organizations to ensure services are in
the client’s best interest and supportive of their goals.
- Minimum two years’ experience in a community-based setting with an emphasis in
community outreach and working with high risk/vulnerable populations. An undergraduate
diploma/degree in the health or social sciences field (an equivalent combination of
education and experience will be considered).
