Act as primary interface to the customers that are supported by the Information Technology Department to resolve real time problems and provide resolutions to users. The IT Support Specialist's role is to ensure proper computer operations so that customers can accomplish organizational tasks as efficiently as possible. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user helpdesk requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of remote system tools, as well as require hands-on help at the system level.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Works directly with end users to provide technical assistance and services to resolve computing problems.
- Assure continuity of the computer system for all system users.
- Install and support selected hardware and software products.
- Ensure security and compliance of desktop and laptops with IT system configurations and procedures.
- Repair hardware as necessary and work closely with service vendors to ensure continuity of service.
- Troubleshoot and maintain A/V equipment in conference rooms.
- Develop troubleshooting processes that helps clarify, identify, and resolve errors in a systematic and timely manner. Work within ticketing system to log and escalate issues to the next level of support personnel as appropriate.
- Be well organized and pay close attention to detail.
- Be “on-call” for periods as assigned by supervisor. Investigate any issues during “on-call” period upon notification and escalate issue as appropriate.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Maintain your knowledge and expertise by learning new and evolving technologies and by achieving appropriate industry and professional certifications.
- Monitor tape backup system and coordinate off-site storage of tapes with vendor.
- Track company inventory by utilizing equipment bar codes and entering information into an inventory database.

**Qualifications**:

- College Degree/Technical School Certification or 2-year experience in the field.
- Must possess any of the following certifications: A+, Network+, Security+, MCP
- Experience with desktop operating systems including Windows 10/11 and Office 365.
- Experience in setting up and managing mobiles devices (Android and iOS)
- Must be familiar with managing users and computers in Active Directory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic team environment.

Pay: $55,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
